We R Ready!

At the beginning of the season this year, many so-called pundits and commentators questioned whether the Cards were all they appeared to be. Even after injuries to Bush, Brohm and others decimated the team of its 'stars,' but UofL continued to show its depth, skill and tenacity by winning on the road, this same group of self-professed experts continued to ask R U Ready?
Well I'm a believer in letting performance speak for itself.
We R Ready!

What a night!
What a game!
What a post-game tailgate party!
What a hangover! (I'm getting too old for this!)

Yes, the Cards showed that they were indeed ready last night, proving many doubters--such as Lee Corso--wrong. I got my most recent Sports Illustrated yesterday, and was amused to see that they projected West Virginia to be participating in the BCS National Championship game against Ohio State.
It will be another stern test next week at Rutgers, but I trust that Coach Petrino will have the 'Ville players ready to take care of business again. Go Cards!
I'm a little foggy myself today. When I woke up this morning after some three hours of sleep, I was too hoarse to talk and my lips were chapped as well. What does that mean?
Anyway it was a great game and a great postgame party. I understand some folks didn't leave the lot until 4 A.M.
I will email my pictures of your pregame tailgate party to you. They came out pretty good. Let me know if you are going to Rutgers game. We are doing the Thanksgiving weekend two-fer basketball & football trip.
Thought you may enjoy this Courier piece if you have not already seen it. Media smack talk
GO CARDS !!!!

zip,
I received the pics. Thanks! I will post them soon; too tired now from two evenings of the 'Cards.'
Pitino has a lot of raw talent. Coupled with the new megarena to be built, and the success of the football program, I can't wait to see what our tickets will cost next year.
