Senator Lurch Kerry

“You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, you try to be smart, you can do well. And if you don’t you get stuck in Iraq.”

Try unsuccessfully as you will to spin it any way you like, Senator, but here is some language even you should understand.

RES IPSA LOQUITUR

And something of which you have no understanding ……..

Res ips, now that brings back some very humorous memories!

I was thinking about Kerry's comments. It seems that he views those in the military as "little people', don't you think? The condescension from these überlibs never ceases to amaze me, whether they are NA's self-apponited "progressives" or those in DC.

Great to see you Tuesday evening. I'll look you up at tailgating tonight!

Nice touch with the überlibs reference. I'll have to adapt that Deutsch into one of my own.

Wait -- I already did.

Never mind.

Yeah you’re right Roger.

Set aside my Germanic heritage and the fact that some in my family still speak the native tongue.

And forget the überbabe references by Wayne Campbell (Mike Myers) through the years on SNL, or the gratuitous use of the über prefix in an episode of South Park a few years back, even David Letterman’s frequent use of the same über, or the place where I really got überlibs from – a comment by blogtastic himself some months ago over at SOLNA.

Ignoring its prolific use in all manner of speech these days, from your comment I can deduce that you somehow think it was you who introduced the now colloquial use of the prefix? What a mover and shaker!

Perhaps it is you that should give proper attribution to blogtastic.

Nah, I'm a MIke Myers fan. I just wanted to light you up, and unlike Dubya, mission accomplished.
